The private garden is gated so that you can keep the children safely away from the pool until you are ready to accompany them. The beaches are just a 30 minute drive away. Torre del Mar and Torrox are both well designed for families with pedestrian only promenades, flat sandy beaches and a good selection of beach side restaurants. Both have children's play areas, as does Competa. Torre del Mar also has tennis and basketball courts, tandem bikes to hire and a good selection of ice cream parlours. Nerja is also popular with British families and has a good selection of family friendly restaurants. Try Burriana beach. and a visit to the caves. For older children there is the Aqua Vellis waterpark at Velez Malaga which has proved popular with previous guests. A little further afield are the various theme parks around Bellamadena.
